The upcoming film Malayalee From India, starring Nivin Pauly, has been making headlines for quite some time now. Fans were eagerly waiting for more updates about the film. The makers have surprised the viewers and dropped the much-awaited trailer, which is currently going viral.
The one minute and 21 second trailer hints that Malayalee From India is a gritty story of violence and Nivin Pauly’s character moves abroad to survive. The teaser also gives the idea that the film has dramatic action scenes. Earlier, Malayalee From India was thought to be a funny comedy-drama starring Nivin Paul and Dhyan Sreenivasan. It is Nivin Pauly’s 43rd film.
The trailer, which was released earlier, has received 9,77,916 views on YouTube so far. Fans left their feedback in the comments section. One of the users wrote: “Blockbuster Vibes!”. Another said: “This is what we call a teaser.” “Nivin is not just acting; he just lives in that character, pure goosebumps overloaded,” the third user wrote. Malayalee From India is directed by Dijo Jose Antony and written by Sharis Mohammed. Cinematography is handled by Sudeep Elamon and editing is done by Sreejith Sarang. The music is scored by Jakes Bejoy. The film also stars Anaswara Rajan, Manju Pillai and Shine Tom Chacko, Salim Kumar and Vijayakumar in pivotal roles.
The film is jointly backed by Nivin’s Pauly Jr Pictures and Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames. Malayalee From India is all set to hit theaters on May 1. Nivin Pauly is working on a film with debutant director Aaryan Ramani Girijavallabhavan. He will also debut on Disney+ Hotstar with the web series Pharma, directed by Finals fame Arun PR.
Nivin Pauly was last seen in the Malayalam language period comedy drama film based on the South Indian film industry, Varshangalkku Shesham. Vineeth Sreenivasan wrote and directed the film. It was backed and distributed by Visakh Subramaniam of Merryland Cinemas.
